Welcome Aboard. I am Captain Norman Brook, owner and operator of the Darlyn Marlyn. Having lived in South Jersey all my life, 59 years to be exact, I have come to learn, love and appreciate the sea. From my early years of bay fishing with my dad to fishing the offshore canyons with my wife Marlyn (yes, that is her reel name) I can honestly say I am thankful for all the memories. As a licensed captain and recently retired retailer I am looking forward to sharing my love of the sea and sport with all those who want to "catch the thrill". Over the years I have corrupted many a first timer into an experienced fisherman who has come to love and respect the sport. Our crew really enjoys watching the first timer as well as the experienced fisherman catch his or her thrill of their first sport fish.
I have never grown tired of the many trips our crew has made as we get to see porpoises, dolphins, turtles, sunfish, whales, and other sea life on the many fishing trips I have made on my boat. That is a plus to the days fishing so always remember to bring a camera, hide it, and please NO BANANAS !!! (I'll explain later)
For all types of fishing, from a day with the family fishing flounder and sea bass on one of our many artificial reefs or to trolling for bluefish, bonita and little tuney in many of our inshore grounds, its all there for the enjoyment. For the more adventuress, those who wish to pursue chumming/chunking for sharks* and tuna, or trolling for Mahi,Tuna, Wahoo or Marlin* in the offshore grounds and canyons, its all available on the Darlyn Marlyn. Our experienced crew will make your day one to remember. With many options available for charter we can make your half or full day trip one of fun and excitement.
